Through Mary, Queen of Angels,
Everybody here has heard about the ultra controversial book the Da Vinci Code. A few months ago, I was thinking about the controversory it made and it hit me why don’t I make a book about the Blessed Virgin Mary which will make others love Her and bring them to the true Church? It will not be propaganda (like how dishonest politicians do), because not only is it for a good cause but becuase, it would be an honest way of bringing people towards Mary. It’s preaching from a book.
The book is going to be set in the end times; it’s not post apocalyptic. I’m thinking of naming it The Consecration (by Philip Marie Johnston), and by Consecration, everyone here knows what I mean! It’s almost about the Consecration of Russia but even more than that, it’s about Mary and the influence which She has upon our lives and to make it even more exciting, character’s shall be experiencing alot of visions, there shall be apparitions and I’m planning to make it really, really scary!
But I need help. Everybody here knows about the book of Revelation, the last book in the Bible and that it speaks about the end times. Does anybody here know some sources which interpret this book according to sound Catholic theology? Preferably theology before Vatican II? Especially those which speak of a great Apostasy? And, especially those which speak of Mary?
Also, can anybody give me some help explaining it? I’m not asking for sources only, I’m asking for help on it.
But a warning and not an unkind one: I am not, and I advise everbody to do the same, going to listen to the perverse interpratations of Ronald Conte jr of Catholicplanet.com (I’m spekaing of the webmaster, not the forum member). He gives such a mangled version of the end times, such an imaginative one where Mary seems to be mentioned less and less than in Luther’s theology. His works are NOT a source of Catholic Doctrine, and he’s always contradicitng himself. His many fanciful predictions have not been fulfilled and never will be. But let’s not go off topic.
