ejaculation will be a very very painful process in 5 months
I keep seeing this statement in various quotes - and it bothers me each time. While several similar situations exists for women, I have never heard of a problem like that for with men. The only painful situations I have heard or experienced were occasional muscle cramp (I think potassium will solve that), and pain caused by lack of oxygen/circulation when the body is left in an aroused state - and that one is easily (?) cured by avoiding the near occasion of sin.

Absolutely continue to wait!

I married my soul mate. We were together for six years before we decided to “consummate” our relationship. The result was disaster. We had a relationship based on complete trust and sex somehow caused that trust to deteriorate.

One circumstance led to another and we ended up separating for one year. Now, because our friendship was strong and the love that made that relationship was still alive we reconciled and got back to together and eventually married.

We now have two children and have been married for 17 years and the love making in the 17th year is even better than the 1st year and this is because of God’s grace and love.

Making love to the one you love while in God’s grace and love will only increase your love for one other.

Making love to each other outside of God’s grace and love will only bring confusion and a possible end.

This has been my experience.

Stay pure! And God bless

My relationship with my girlfriend (now wife) deteriorated after we slept together. To her, I became just another man trying to use her (before she felt I cared about her). It was a large factor in destroying that relationship.

The bonding haunted me daily for years and through several other relationships (including living with a pagan/wicken). I prayed daily many of those years that we would someday be together again - and after 14 years those prayers were answered. We have been together for the last 6 years.

The Lord works in ways we do not understand. While I understand now how I destroyed the beautiful relationship we had 20 years ago, I also know I would not have the family I have now if we would have married then - it was not the proper time yet.

You have been given some great advice on this thread.
I will try to add to it.
you said that she is pretty traditional and committed to abstinence. (correct ?)
DO NOT put pressure on her to do it EVER while you are dating!
It is very hard to remain true to your committment when a person you love keeps pushing the boundaries and asks if you want them to go farther or questions your committment to remain abstinent. It is putting to much burden on the other person. (it doesn’t sound like you are doing this, just for future reference, and yes your feelings are very natural).

And yes babies are the result of the act (I got pregnant the first week (or so) of my marriage.

Welcome to the human race.

I’m not doubting that you love your girlfriend. It’s possible to find one’s spouse at your age.

BUT–it’s not the rule.

I would wait about deciding who to marry until you’re older and are in a better position to take on the responsibilities of marriage.

Which bring me to my next point:

I’m going to speak strictly practically here.

Sex has consequences. Babies are just one of them. I really doubt you are mature enough yet to deal with these consequences.

So cool this off with here for a whlie. You’ll both be better off for it.
Good advice!👍
