"Put all your beliefs into harmony with science, there can be no opposition, for truth is one. When religion, shorn of its superstitions, traditions and unintelligent dogmas, shows its conformity with science, then will there be a great unifying, cleansing force in the world, which will sweep before it all wars, disagreements, discord and struggles, and then will mankind be united in the power of the Love of God. "

'Abdu’l-Baha

Point well taken. The Bahai faith teaches all other religions to "Put all your beliefs into harmony with science…When religion… shows its conformity with science, then will there be a great unifying?

The Abdul- Baha’s enlightenment appears to be in creation that science can prove and I think Abdul-Baha summed up the whole of the Bahia faith here.

It would appear according to Abdul, that for your religion to be true, it has to remove itself from any divine revelation outside of space and time which science cannot enlighten the carnal mind. If your religion cannot be supported from the enlightenment of science and knowledge of creation? It falls out of the realm of Bahai’s reality faith based on the enlightenment of science and creation.

This explains why the Bahai members have trouble accepting divine revelation of the Trinity, the Incarnation, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as believed and taught by eye witnesses to Jesus teachings and miracles that supersedes the carnal mind grounded in the enlightenment of science.

Abraham, Moses, Jesus Christ, Muhammad, Bab and Baha’u’llah are all the same Holy Spirit, only a different Flesh body in the age the message was given
.

I am at a lost for words according to your definition of the Holy Spirit as taking on “different Flesh body in the age the message was given”?

For example the teachings of Jesus Christ contradict the new teachings introduced by Muhammad.

Christians believe God the Holy Spirit does not contradict Himself.

Gabriel of 12 - Of course you can look at it that way.

Science and religion are the Wings of a bird that must balance for it to fly. Both are God Given Paths to the Truth. Each will in time blend Life and Faith into one.

We have only just started this Joureny out of Superstition, so why write off science when it has just started?

As the years progress we will be gobsmacked 😃

Superstitious belief will be not more. All we can know the apex of Knowledge, is the Word of God.

God has no contradictions, but there is different frames of reference and intentional blindness.

Both wonderful scientific studies that will give you new avenues for thought and new ideas to consider.

Servant19;13669933]Critical line in your reasoning is “If the Bab existed during Jesus’ time”
Yes, I placed it in the form of a question for a Bahai member to answer.
While Jesus brought a sword, it applied for the Age of Christianity. He has since returned. We no longer need to live by that sword 🙂
If you read the whole Chapter of Matthew 10, you will find Jesus teaching is meant for all Christians in every age. To begin to live according to the sword Jesus brings for all ages, one has to be a true disciple of Jesus and never a disciple of another. Because Jesus resurrected from the dead and lives, the sword of Jesus Christ remains in the world. Other wise the Bahai faith would NOT exist today.
The problem is, too many Catholics patronise others claiming they are the owners of absolute Truth. How incredibly DAMAGING, not just to their own salvation, but to society as a whole…
You have an incorrect perception of Catholics here. We believe Jesus is the TRUTH personified. Catholics do not claim to be owners of Jesus, we are only followers and disciples of Jesus Christ. Jesus is for all of humanity.

I noticed the Bahai faith follows many names. God has revealed to His Church that there is no other name above the name of Jesus Christ.

“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ **Jesus, who, being in the form of God, **did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. **Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” **(Phil. 2:1-11)

Acts 4:12 “He is the STONE WHICH WAS REJECTED by you, THE BUILDERS, but WHICH BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone. 12"And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

Has God placed any of the names Bahai members follow above the name of Jesus?

Peace be with you

What is the use of a physical body, with bones, flesh, hands and feet in heaven?

Got doesn’t create a body for no purpose. What is the purpose of this physical body in heaven?

.
So I guess you think people just float around in Outer Space as Orbs …right ?

Tony was kind enough to tell me what he believed in regards to our present discussion, and I respect that. I’ve said it before, and I guess I have to say it again, Servant. I don’t respect your method of dialogue. I find your questions silly and condescending. I’ve told you plainly and honestly what I believe. I only ask that you do the same.
I respect your opinion, even if it happens to be different from my own.
The definition of condescending and silliness doesn’t match my questions Jeffrey.

If I cannot quote St. Thomas Aquinas and ask a question regarding it, then there is a problem with the way it is being received, not the way it is given.

If you expect me to sit here and never question you if you say that black is white and white is black (for example), then I apologize for having a brain dear Jeffrey, and your issue is with God and how He created an intellect, not with me 🙂

God bless you!

What IF??

Concerning the location of the burial site of Jesus’ sacred remains, a letter dated 22 March 1982 written on behalf of the Universal House of Justice to an individual believer states:

Pilgrims have recorded in their notes oral statements made by 'Abdu’l-Bahá and Shoghi Effendi to the effect that the disciples hid the body of Christ by burying it under the wall of Jerusalem, and that it is now under the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The House of Justice knows of nothing in the Writings of the Faith, however, explicitly confirming these statements.

*(Before the following explanation, which introduced a subject totally unrelated to the previous subjects of the evening, the beloved Guardian paused for quite some minutes in his conversation; and then without any preface to his remarks, he made the following statement.)

People wonder what happened to the body of Christ after the crucifixion.
It was buried by the disciples under the wall of Jerusalem to protect it from the Roman legions.* It remained buried there for some 260 years.* (The Guardian gave the exact number of years but afterwards none of the pilgrims could remember precisely the number.)* It remained buried under the wall of Jerusalem until the mother of the Emperor Constantine, who had herself become a Christian, came to Jerusalem and had the Church of the Holy Sepulcher built – at which time the body of Christ was removed from under the wall of the city and was placed under the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. And that is where it is today.* The Baha’is should be aware of this fact when they visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, which is the holiest place in Christendom.*

A spirit body can do the same things a physical body can do…

**The Writing on the Wall

Suddenly the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall, near the lampstand in the royal palace. The king watched the hand as it wrote. His face turned pale and he was so frightened that his legs became weak and his knees were knocking.

Maybe ground penetrating radar can be used one day soon 😃

Just like to mention About Pilgrims Notes

“Pilgrims’ Notes” are records of individuals’ meetings with the Central Figures of the Bahá’í Faith and usually the recorded speech of the Central Figures. These Pilgrims’ Notes are unofficial records of what visitors to the Holy Land recall was said and done by 'Abdu’l-Bahá and Shoghi Effendi, but cannot be considered as their authentic words: the authors might have misheard or miswritten a statement; they might not have been knowledgeable about the Bahá’í Faith and might have introduced their own misunderstandings into the notes; and these online notes are taken from widely circulated second-, third-, and sometimes fourth-generation hand-typed copies. These need to be checked against originals where they may exist and when they are found, for every copyist can and usually does introduce new errors.

The What Iff is because “As these records can rarely be authenticated, they are considered to be less reliable than the carefully-transcribed and preserved writings of the Central Figures, and are to be used with caution”.

Tony,

That would put the cat among the pigeons wouldn’t it especially if were found that it was known all along but kept quiet.

I want them to look. But if they found some remains, it would cause many years of more division!

Then there would be those that reject the science, no win type of situation.

David that is 100% False, the only thing they found in that tomb was the Holy Shroud of Turin. Can you see now why nobody can take Bahaism seriously.

The Baha’is should be aware of this fact when they visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, which is the holiest place in Christendom.
I guess Baha’is think we like the Muslims and Mecca. The Holiest place in Christendom is the Eucharist.

Hello Tony.

Matthew 18? Your kind reply would be appreciated .

MJ
I like it the way Christ predicted the age of his own Sacrafice in Matthew 18:22 which ties back into Daniel.

He gives the Seventy times Seven which is the 490 years and using the rebuilding of the temple of 457BC we have Christ Sacrificing for Sin at age 33.

I am but a lost sheep of 18:14 😊
