Who asked this of you?I don’t care if our Catholic friends never become Baha’is but I do care very much that they always know we are at one with them and on their side not against them

Point well taken. The Bahai faith teaches all other religions to "Put all your beliefs into harmony with science…When religion… shows its conformity with science, then will there be a great unifying?"Put all your beliefs into harmony with science, there can be no opposition, for truth is one. When religion, shorn of its superstitions, traditions and unintelligent dogmas, shows its conformity with science, then will there be a great unifying, cleansing force in the world, which will sweep before it all wars, disagreements, discord and struggles, and then will mankind be united in the power of the Love of God. "

Abraham, Moses, Jesus Christ, Muhammad, Bab and Baha’u’llah are all the same Holy Spirit, only a different Flesh body in the age the message was given
Gabriel of 12 - Of course you can look at it that way.Point well taken. The Bahai faith teaches all other religions to "Put all your beliefs into harmony with science…When religion… shows its conformity with science, then will there be a great unifying?
The Abdul- Baha’s enlightenment appears to be in creation that science can prove and I think Abdul-Baha summed up the whole of the Bahia faith here.
It would appear according to Abdul, that for your religion to be true, it has to remove itself from any divine revelation outside of space and time which science cannot enlighten the carnal mind. If your religion cannot be supported from the enlightenment of science and knowledge of creation? It falls out of the realm of Bahai’s reality faith based on the enlightenment of science and creation.
This explains why the Bahai members have trouble accepting divine revelation of the Trinity, the Incarnation, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as believed and taught by eye witnesses to Jesus teachings and miracles that supersedes the carnal mind grounded in the enlightenment of science.
God has no contradictions, but there is different frames of reference and intentional blindness..
I am at a lost for words according to your definition of the Holy Spirit as taking on “different Flesh body in the age the message was given”?
For example the teachings of Jesus Christ contradict the new teachings introduced by Muhammad.
Christians believe God the Holy Spirit does not contradict Himself.
This makes sense considering this is Shia belief.and the primacy of Peter, the Prince of the Apostles, is upheld and defended…
What about Matthew 18? When are you intending to study it closer?God has no contradictions, but there is different frames of reference and intentional blindness.
Regards Tony
Yes, I placed it in the form of a question for a Bahai member to answer.Servant19;13669933]Critical line in your reasoning is “If the Bab existed during Jesus’ time”
If you read the whole Chapter of Matthew 10, you will find Jesus teaching is meant for all Christians in every age. To begin to live according to the sword Jesus brings for all ages, one has to be a true disciple of Jesus and never a disciple of another. Because Jesus resurrected from the dead and lives, the sword of Jesus Christ remains in the world. Other wise the Bahai faith would NOT exist today. While Jesus brought a sword, it applied for the Age of Christianity. He has since returned. We no longer need to live by that sword![]()
You have an incorrect perception of Catholics here. We believe Jesus is the TRUTH personified. Catholics do not claim to be owners of Jesus, we are only followers and disciples of Jesus Christ. Jesus is for all of humanity. The problem is, too many Catholics patronise others claiming they are the owners of absolute Truth. How incredibly DAMAGING, not just to their own salvation, but to society as a whole…
So I guess you think people just float around in Outer Space as Orbs …right ?.
What is the use of a physical body, with bones, flesh, hands and feet in heaven?
Got doesn’t create a body for no purpose. What is the purpose of this physical body in heaven?
.
The definition of condescending and silliness doesn’t match my questions Jeffrey.Tony was kind enough to tell me what he believed in regards to our present discussion, and I respect that. I’ve said it before, and I guess I have to say it again, Servant. I don’t respect your method of dialogue. I find your questions silly and condescending. I’ve told you plainly and honestly what I believe. I only ask that you do the same.
I respect your opinion, even if it happens to be different from my own.
Maybe you could answer the question Techno, rather than patronise us with things we don’t believe in?So I guess you think people just float around in Outer Space as Orbs …right ?
A spirit body can do the same things a physical body can do…What is the use of a physical body, with bones, flesh, hands and feet in heaven?
.
Maybe ground penetrating radar can be used one day soonWhat IF??
Concerning the location of the burial site of Jesus’ sacred remains, a letter dated 22 March 1982 written on behalf of the Universal House of Justice to an individual believer states:
Pilgrims have recorded in their notes oral statements made by 'Abdu’l-Bahá and Shoghi Effendi to the effect that the disciples hid the body of Christ by burying it under the wall of Jerusalem, and that it is now under the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The House of Justice knows of nothing in the Writings of the Faith, however, explicitly confirming these statements.
*(Before the following explanation, which introduced a subject totally unrelated to the previous subjects of the evening, the beloved Guardian paused for quite some minutes in his conversation; and then without any preface to his remarks, he made the following statement.)
People wonder what happened to the body of Christ after the crucifixion. It was buried by the disciples under the wall of Jerusalem to protect it from the Roman legions.* It remained buried there for some 260 years.* (The Guardian gave the exact number of years but afterwards none of the pilgrims could remember precisely the number.)* It remained buried under the wall of Jerusalem until the mother of the Emperor Constantine, who had herself become a Christian, came to Jerusalem and had the Church of the Holy Sepulcher built – at which time the body of Christ was removed from under the wall of the city and was placed under the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. And that is where it is today.* The Baha’is should be aware of this fact when they visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, which is the holiest place in Christendom.*
I want them to look. But if they found some remains, it would cause many years of more division!Tony,
That would put the cat among the pigeons wouldn’t it especially if were found that it was known all along but kept quiet.
Hello Tony.Regards Tony
David that is 100% False, the only thing they found in that tomb was the Holy Shroud of Turin. Can you see now why nobody can take Bahaism seriously.People wonder what happened to the body of Christ after the crucifixion. I guess Baha’is think we like the Muslims and Mecca. The Holiest place in Christendom is the Eucharist. The Baha’is should be aware of this fact when they visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, which is the holiest place in Christendom.
I like it the way Christ predicted the age of his own Sacrafice in Matthew 18:22 which ties back into Daniel.Hello Tony.
Matthew 18? Your kind reply would be appreciated .
