Does anyone know if a priest has consecrated too many hosts and the tabernacle is full. What should the priest do when there is no other place to put the extra hosts?

I imagine they could always be consumed at the ablutions.

I would imagine that he could get another ciborrium and place them inside Tabernacle. Most Tabernacles are fairly roomy and can accommodate several ciborria, if needed.

The priest may secure them in another way, possibly in the same place where the eucharist is kept on Holy Thursday night. Many have a taberncale in the rectory or they can be taken to a neighboring parish.Does anyone know if a priest has consecrated too many hosts and the tabernacle is full.
