You are is a dangerous ground, brother. You are saying that Catholic don’t need the bible. In that case, you can tell the priest in the mass to eliminate the readings entirely.

God’s word cannot be limited by anybody including the pope. Surely that anybody can get the correct word of God. But, they can be wrong too. With the correct word of God guaranteed by the correct bible, you are in 100% sure.

If you can’t ground your argument on the written bible, how can you ground your argument on the unwritten Tradition?? No way. The RCC cannot be away from the written bible. You are wrong to think it the other way.

All Christian including the Catholic cannot be off the bible, brother. In your posting that you said that you do not need the bible verse to support your idea. Now, what do you think that all the councils based on their discussion from? If not the Bible?? No way, brother. All the bishops must go back to the bible and/or Traditions when they are discussing any issues, let alone recommending something for the pope to declare it ex-cathedra.

In Cathecism 846 you recommend, there is a wording about Extra Ecclesia Nulla Salus Est as follow “Hence, they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it.” So, you see that Extra Ecclesia Nulla Salus Est, does not apply to every single person.

In Cathecism 869, there is a wording "Nevertheless, many elements of sanctification and of truth are found outside its visible confines (Quoting Lumen Gentium 8).

In that case, extra ecclesia nulla salus est, cannot be ex-cathedra, nor does it applied globally and unrestrictively.

I’ve never heard of such a church called the Roman Church.

In fact, Ive actually read from several catholic posters here that to refer to the catholic church as the ‘‘Roman’’ church is a grave insult to them.
