I am the chair of our finance committee at a parish that only celebrates the Extraordinary Form. We are just starting out and growing. I was wondering if anyone out there is aware of an association/group of lay people who are active in running/growing their Latin parish.

If one does not exist I think one would be useful to parishes who are growing (or established) and are facing issues such as marketing, financial matters and dealing with resistance to the EF.
It would be a place to exchange ideas on the issues of growing the parish, financial organization, parish organizations, fundraising, etc. My 50 year plan is to have the Extraordinary Form of the Mass as common as “Extraordinary” Eucharistic Ministers. 😉

Does anyone think a group (real or virtual) like this would be useful to the Latin Mass Parishes out there?

One of the most successful Latin Mass Communities is at St. Boniface in Pittsburgh, PA. You can reach them at their website at pittsburghlatinmass.org. You can email from there and I am certain that you will get the advice and help and you are looking for. Or, you can go to kansascitylatinmass.org (that’s my TLM apostolate) and read a little about St. Boniface - we were there last week. There is also a link to their web site. God bless your efforts and best wishes.

Oh yea…don’t forget Mater Ecclesiae…the first ever EF only “Mission Church” established and staffed by a Roman Catholic Diocese.

Link is below.

More of these need to be established in Virginia, for those of us without transport to Richmond.
