I use both the St. Edmund Campion Missal (which is what our FSSP parish has for its parishioners to use) and the New Marian Missal, which I have used since coming in to the Church 20 years ago.
The St. Edmund Campion Missal only has the Sundays and Major Feasts, but has beautiful pictures and I believe is easier to follow. I only wish it had one or two more bookmark ribbons, but it’s a good choice. One of the Fryar brothers of the FSSP, Fr. James Fryar, is the celebrant in the photos. He also started
livemass.org which airs the EF Masses online offered in Sarasota, FL, Guadalajara, Mexico, and Fribourg, Switzerland.
I prefer the New Marian Missal, partly because it’s the missal I’ve used for 20 years, but also because I really like the additional prayers added (prayers before and after Confession, Communion, and prayers for the dead). The New Marian has the propers for all feast days throughout the year as well as the Sunday/Major Feasts, and is easy to follow IMHO. Plus is has plenty of those bookmark ribbons that I love.
I’ve also tried the St. Joseph Missal, the Father Lasance Missal, as well as a few others (including the small red Ecclesia Dei booklet). All have their pluses and minuses, but it’s all going to depend on personal preference. Good luck missal hunting!
