True, and there are still those who claim that the letter states that it is up to the local bishop, when no where in the document does it say that.
Thus, as I read their responses, they are the ones who are in error. Furthermore, to say that the bishop has the say in this matter would pretty much be contradicting what the authoritative documents of the Holy See have to say.

Well maybe --someone should bow out --and stop with the harmful backing --of those who actually do “misinterpret” to fit their agenda–that undermines the Church.
