How would extraterrestrial life fit into God’s plan of salvation, from an apologetics standpoint?

In my opinion, if there were sentient beings, they would either be soulless, or otherwise another species along with humans and angels to be called to God. And thus a new frontier of evangelism. :o

I am assuming in this you are refering to “intelligent” life as opposed to plant or lower forms of animal life.

I take this approach. God has not mentioned it to us that I know of, so we are best served by dealing with our own issues and letting God deal with any other issues.
We have enough to do just trying to get humnity saved, let alone any others “out there” in the cosmos.

So far as I know, the Church doesn’t teach anything about ETs, but rightly leaves that area to science.

I’m pretty sure that there are aliens out there and that they visit our planet fairly often because I keep seeing single shoes along the sides of the roads where they have snatched people. My wife theorizes that they must be one legged aliens because of that. 😃

WOW, I never heard that theory before! Thanks for the info. 👍
