Somebody has turned the face to ruins! who destroyed it!Freesoul, this image you are showing, looks like a joke to me.
Here is the link to the real “Face on Mars” with an expanded view, i.e. more recent view. msss.com/mars_images/moc/extended_may2001/face/face_E03-00824_proc.gif
This shot shows it as a clear anomaly. This isn’t unusual in geology. Take for instance the “Old Man of the Mountain”, from New Hampshire. This was a naturally occuring outcropping of rock, that looked just like the head of a man, and it’s been around on the mountain side for 25,000 years or so. It is even the state symbol of New Hampshire. Nobody ever stated that this was carved by aliens, everyone agreed it was a natural formation. Although it recently fell apart.
There have even been outcroppings in the Grand Canyon that when viewed from the correct angle look just like an angel, but when viewed from another angle, it is obviously just a hunk of rock.
Chipper.
How long would it take someone to accuse them of idolitry? If they found statues on the planet mars…
I believe that because we like to discover and God loves us soooo much that he would create this universe without other life just so we could discover and be amazed.I can’t imagine God would bother creating this vast universe for nothing to go on there. I mean life is the reason for creation, so we can have the free choice to know and love God. Though I suppose He could have other reasons I don’t understand.
? why would God create the universe without other life to amaze us? surley it would make sense the other way round, wouldnt you agree?I believe that because we like to discover and God loves us soooo much that he would create this universe without other life] just so we could discover and be amazed.

Questioning my reasoning? What did I say?I wasnt Qeustioning God, i was Qeustioning your reasoning.
God can do what he likes, in fact he doesnt need to amaze us, he is amazing.
He creates things for his own pleasure.
He loves creating, therefore its reasonable to assume that he didnt stop doing so on the account of us. If he didnt create other life, then so be it, It obviously wasnt his will.
Its says in the bible, that he created stars or heavenly hosts so we could tell the time and the seasons.
But that isnt there only function. Suns and planets are different shapes and sizes and are made of different meterials, they are different colours.
Also, there are galaxys that we cant see with the naked eye, they are independent of us, so its reasonable to think that there are things in this world that are not for are pleasure alone, but are for Gods pleasure.

These things are obvioulsy not worthy of your intelligents and totally go beyond your intrests in the reality in which you exist.Questioning my reasoning? What did I say?
Frankly what you are saying is gibberish and raising a thread about statues on Mars and belief in ufos and aliens makes me wonder about you!!
Phil! whats up man!freesoul << Somebody has turned the face to ruins! who destroyed it! >>
The aliens from Venus of course. The women of Venus are at war with the men from Mars.

WHAT are you talking about? These things are obvioulsy not worthy of your intelligents and totally go beyond your intrests in the reality in which you exist.
I wonder if you wonder at all!
Gibberish? you didnt anwser my Qeustion.
I raised a qeustion about what somebody fought about reality and expressed what “i” felt about reality ( its called sharing opinions) It wasnt aimed at you orignally. And then you Qeustioned me about qeustioning God as if speculating about reality and what inhabits it, is a bad thing. If this is not so (which is a possibility) then why Make a quote of me?
You have missed the point. I never argued that there was a face or a statue on mars. Some years back there was talk about a face on mars, i just wanted to know what that was all about. Then i wanted to know how the church would feel about it if their was in fact monuments on mars.WHAT are you talking about?
There are no faces or statues or 'beings" on Mars. It is a hoax to suck in the gullible.
BTW, that “head” looks like it has an eyebolt on the tip of the hat and is hanging from a chain.
First of all, you need evidence to say that. Two, you never been to mars. Three, what is rationality that you would call sombody irational for thinking there was statues on mars? decieved maybe, even ignorant, But not irational. If evidence was shown to me that proves beyond a reasonable doubt that there is in fact no statues on mars, then it would not be rational for me to keep on believing that there was. There for Knowing the truth all depends on me knowing for a fact that there are no statues on mars. There are no statues on Mars. No rational person would believe that!
I like the site Phil, keep em coming. By the way, do you agree with Whats on these Sites? What is your stand, on these alien conspirtus ideas involving are goverments. Do you think that Tony Blair and Gorge Bush are having secret tea partys with little grey beings?freesoul << Somebody has turned the face to ruins! who destroyed it! >>

There are no alien statues on Mars. You are just being ridiculous to think there is even a possibility.First of all, you need evidence to say that. Two, you never been to mars. Theres nothing wrong with believing as long is it holds to reason, It is reasonable to assume that mars may have been a planet with an atmosphere, that could have supported bacterial life forms. We might dig there one day and find buried bodys of ancient alien races. Whats wrong with believing that to be a possibility?Innocent untill proven guilty.
