Is it a mortal sin not to do the sacrifice that we promised to do during lent? (only one day)

You are only REQUIRED to fast on two days - Ash Wednesday and Good Friday as well as abstain from eating meat on these days and the other Fridays in Lent.
Anything else is voluntary. If its not binding then it cannot be a sin.
