As children we were told a kiss from a Princess turned a frog into a human and now as adults we are updated and told this happened millions of years ago. Many adults still accept this - twinc
 
A far more serious one than that is that many adults today believe that Sciencism is altruistic and isn’t a religion. And in addition they often believe the fairy tail that if there were no religions, the world would be a happy and harmonious place without threats or war.

Or how about those who believe that only their own mind exists and all reality is but an illusion created by their own mind.

Some people will believe anything. 😃

yeah my grandmother died believing astronauts never landed on the moon, the CIA staged the whole thing for TV to get our minds off Vietnam.

some people believe if you marry a jerk your love will somehow “change him” into a decent person you can lve with

some people think our health care system will actually provide better medical care for more people at less cost if the democrats have their way

there are all kinds of myths, pick one and run with it

Actually, in a VERY conceptual sense, that frog thing really is true. But you DO have to pick the right frog and really know how to kiss. 😉
