Faith and Job Advancement

Please pray for my husband at work. The job advancement he applied for last month is on hold right now. Please pray that they will start the interviewing process soon and that God will hasten the day that DH makes enough for me to quit and stay home w/ our children. Also, that he will be willing to make some sacrifices with me in our expenses to make this possible. He has not been attending mass regularly and shows no interest in pursuing a relationship with our Lord - I know he needs the graces of the sacraments.

I am struggling at work b/c my longing to be home w/ my children is growing stronger and almost unbearable. Nearly in tears at my desk most days esp with all the changes going on around here and everyone is stressed and rude and glum. 'Been praying for everyone here esp when they grate my nerves . . .I know they are struggling too.

Praying for everyone who is struggling to even find work and make ends meet or longing for the gift of children in their marriage. Thank you and blessings to all.

Heavenly Father,

You created us a family unit. Please give us the means and opportunities for us to be able to support a culture of life. That mother’s can stay home and teach and rear their children bringing them into wisdom and adulthood. That father’s would be able to work and have a good way to support those families without sacrificing time spent in communion with you in the Church. We ask blessings on all of those mother’s who have to work, we thank you for those families who have mothers at home, and ask that you so graciously grant to all of us, a decrease in desire, a decrease in the messages to be like this world. For our true desire is to raise souls to bring them to heaven with you. If the situation cannot change then I would ask your peace be given to each mom and dad and courage for them to step in where the world and the enemy would rather them not go. We pray for all spouses to love each other and speak your name into each family this day. Amen.
