The sayings of Christ as we know them from the Bible admonish the faithful not to judge others in their day to day life. I hear people use this saying so often that you would think people can not accept even a casual observation about someone else. We are told this about judgement. That we can know a tree by it’s fruit. Our judgements of others are made everyday as a routine matter of course in so many ways.
When you discuss morality, isn’t the implication or inference that a morality is based on judgements, even secular judgements in the temporal world?
The Faith of many is like the rocks that we build on and the Catholic Church is one of those rocks. With faith like a rock, while being told oh ye of little faith, can’t we at least have enough Faith in the Bible, another rock, to understand it as we read it this very day and not argue trivia over the message and the basic story?

As far as morality goes there is a morality based on faith and judgement that can be discerned.
Any discernment of this morality must be derived from theology or it does not include all things necessary to discern a morality.

Some people may think that the two sayings of Christ on Judgement are in conflict? Not to me. They are in agreement because Christ counsels us on what is the basis of judgement.
Some may disagree with this.

To what extent can we base our Judgements on Faith? What understanding of our Faith do we require to determine the Faith that we do base Judgements on?
