English is essentially a protestant, secular, and yes, a anti-Catholic language.
Where do you come up with this silliness, given that English existed for about 1000 years before Protestantism was even invented?

And why in heavenā€™s name would you think a language used on a daily basis by many saints and blesseds is somehow a ā€œdetriment to the faithā€?

Itā€™s really hard to take your post seriously.

And Calvinā€™s Institutes. In fact, most seminal Reformation works were largely disseminated in Latin. The scholars who made the KJV even conducted their conferences in Latin, which is not unexpected given that Latin was the scholarly lingua franca at the time (and Latin was still used in many internationally-destined Protestant scholarship until the mid-19th century).
