At this very time in my life, when I am finally trying to deal with everything, I find I need and want faith more than ever. Yet, never more has there been doubt. Having the least when I need the most is a hard thing for faith.

Please see my other posts. However I can assure science has little to do with it.

Before any resolution can begin, the problem must be correctly identified. IMO it appears that burdens in your life is driving a lack of faith. I can recommend the story of Job.

However, imagine if you had not had these burdens in your life. Would your faith still falter? The plan and will of God is impossible to understand, and only by following the guidelines and laws He has set forth will you find the salvation you are seeking. I hope this helps.

perhaps call the apologist line and speak with Fr. Serpa…or a good priest near you…

it sounds like you have a number of things to work out…

remember too…

it is faith seeking understanding…and

From the Catechism:

157 Faith is certain. It is more certain than all human knowledge because it is founded on the very word of God who cannot lie. To be sure, revealed truths can seem obscure to human reason and experience, but “the certainty that the divine light gives is greater than that which the light of natural reason gives.” “Ten thousand difficulties do not make one doubt.

Hold fast to Jesus Christ…he is our hope!
