Has anyone here used the Faith Database CD-ROM I’ve been hearing so much about? It sounds like a great resource for defending the faith against Protestants and also just for learning the faith more completely. I would love feedback from anyone who uses it before I decide to purchase it myself. Thanks.

No, but I have found the Bible to be extremely effective when debunking protestantism 😉
 
I agree completely, but my question was geared more toward finding out the usefulness of this Faith Database software.
 
My husband and I are going to order it! It has SO much information! 🙂

I’m not sure that it will work on my mac though, I think I may need to get software to run PC programs 😦
 
I have it and use it quite a bit and it’s all kinds of handy. You won’t outgrow it anytime soon I assure you.

I have been using it for a year now and they just improved it with a completely new format it, just keeps getting better and better.I’ve never seen a program that includes so many resources,It’s a “Must have” if your doing any serious research into our Catholic faith.I use Libronix as my primary “Bible” program and Harmony Media’s "Welcome to the Catholic Church " v 4 but for Early Church Fathers,Catechism,Encyclicals,Papal writings Popes,Saints,The Catholic Encyclopedia,Councils,Apologetics,ect you name it and believe me it’s in Faith Database…Awesome! 👍

Can’t all the information just be found on the internet?
Why would this software be better than what is already available online?
 
I have this program also, and love it! What makes it different from online resources for me, is that it’s all in one place. Plus, it searchable. You can search the Bible, the ECF, the doctors of the church, etc. You can also bookmark passages or copy. I use the copy feature quite frequently. While reading along I’ll copy passages to a word doc. They are automatically referenced when you paste to the doc. Then when I’m done, I have a document with very complete notes that, for me, is easier to study. And if I need to go back to source, it is easy to do so.
