Oops - I guess I shouldn’t have voted then. I’m the one who converted - DH was raised Catholic.
Well there’s the problem!Assuming YOU were Catholic when y’all met.
What a beautiful story! Amen!My dear husband started attending mass with us very soon after we started dating. I never told him that in my heart I knew I could never marry a non-Catholic after what I went through with my ex. I didn’t want him to think he HAD to convert for us to get married. But anyway… about 2 months after he started going to mass with us I found him reading an Idiot’s guide to Catholicism and also reading Aquinas…
About a year later he signed up for RCIA and went to classes. Later I asked him when he made the decision to become Catholic. It was at a healing mass that we went to. He saw how many were truly moved by the prayers and the mass. He saw people with hope in their eyes and hearts go up for the blessing. I guess that convinced him… anyway… about 6 months after he was received into the church he proposed.
Thank you… he is a wonderful husband… I am truly Blest! What a beautiful story! Amen!
Same here.I’m a cradle.
I’m praying my spouse will convert someday.
We should start a club or something…Same here.
I was away from the Church at the time we married, and reverted about 2 years ago. DH is really having a tough time with it, as he is not religious at all. So, I pray and leave it up to God.
