Faith vs. Military Service

I’m currently serving in the U.S. military, I have been in for less than a year, and for the majority of that year I have been (for lack of a better term) regetting my decision to join the military. I am unable to reconcile my conscience with my military service. My spiritual life has been effected by my lifestyle in the military. If anyone can offer any advice on this I would greatly appreciate it.
 
I will keep you in my prayers. I recommend contacting a Catholic priest on base to discuss your concerns with. I think it is possible to serve in the military while still practicing and remaining faithful to your faith. In fact, you can serve as a witness to others. But I think a Catholic military chaplain would be the best person to help you sort through your concerns.
