What are some suggested ways i can restore my faith in christ when i am faced with doubts?
 
Say the rosary my friend.
Better yet try a novena! novena! novena!
 
Recognize that these are likely demonic attacks and say (aloud if possible) something like “I am a child of God bought by the blood of Christ and you have no power over me.” Then pray to God for strength in this trial and for protection from your Guardian Angel and St. Michael.

One effective “method” to strengthen your faith is to go out an put it into action. Volunteer at a soup kitchen, watch someone’s kids while they go to chemo, make a casserole for a family whose Mom has just died - and as you’re doing the work, pray - “Lord, please help this family” or “please provide for this homeless person.”

We are saved BY grace, through FAITH, for GOOD WORKS. And the three support and strengthen one another - the more grace we receive, the more faith we have, the more good works we can offer - and the more grace we receive. This is God’s plan for us.

You don’t have to wait until you “feel” it - you can “do” it as an act of faith, and God will honor and rewarrd it.

Faith is an action, that is why the prayer is called “an act of Faith” just as contrition is a positive action, and we pray “the act of contrition.” Pray the act of faith, and pray the creed daily, out loud, attentively, slowly and intentionally.

as for doubts or questions, do the research, here or at another reliable Catholic site or book. Do not ever under any circumstances waste time with an anti-Catholic or non-Catholic source. Leave debating those folks to the Catholics who are strong and informed in their faith, as it is a not a task for the faint hearted.

Live as if you believed. Obey the commandments and laws of Church even if you do not yet fully understand their logic and necessity. Pray and worship with the Church as Christ commanded, even if you do not yet fully understand (which none of us can claim to do anyhow) the depth and meaning of that sacramental system. Pray: Lord I believe, help my unbelief. Read scripture daily and spend time in front of the Blessed Sacrament or a crucifix and Christ himself will instruct you. Shortcut in all of this: pray the rosary.

Take Peter’s advice

2 Pet 1:

" 5For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith
  • goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;
  • 6and to knowledge, self-control;
  • and to self-control, perseverance;
  • and to perseverance, godliness;
  • 7and to godliness, brotherly kindness;
  • and to brotherly kindness, love.
8For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.

10Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall, 11and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
 
Remember then from what you have fallen… (Revelation 2:5)

Think back. Was there ever a time in your life when you undeniably experienced God’s love for you? If so, hold on to that memory and let it strengthen your wavering faith or restore your lost faith.
