Greetings, I am somewhat new to this site.  I realize that many of you don't know me, but I am desiring to ask for prayer.  You see, for 15 years I was a chain smoker.  Now, I've switched poisons.  I am a faithful Catholic who is also a faithful user of chewing tobacco, and it seems so impossible to quit.  Please pray for me, and thank you!!!!

Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen

(Not an easy thing to do, but possible. Maybe start slowly, less amounts, every other day, while offering it up to the Lord for a special intention. Good Luck)
 
Father, you have helped Tommy to overcome his
addiction to cigarettes, and we ask you to please
remove the need for chewing tobacco from his body.
We trust in you for all those things that we cannot
accomplish, and for those things which we simply
think we cannot accomplish.
Grant him strength, peace, and comfort. Defend him
against all cravings.
I ask this in the name of Jesus!

Praying for the Holy Spirit to help you overcome chewing tabacco. (I quit smoking about 4 years ago. I know it’s a struggle to quit this kind of habit.)

May God’s love and peace and strength be with you and comfort you through this struggle.
