Fall Out Boy - Centuries (Music Video)

There are visual references to Jesus Christ, Angels, with David and Goliath in this music video (Fall Out Boy - Centuries), thoughts? Good/Bad?
 
My only thought is:
Wow! That’s a blast from the past! Are they still even a group? My daughters were into them in their teens, years ago.
 
Unless they’re disrespectful, I’d say no. There is nothing wrong with “taking cues” from the Bible, and overall its “charachters” (Jesus included) have become part of our cultural identity, regardless of your belief.

I’m more of a pre-break up FOB fan. Their new stuff is pretty much ****.

In response to your question, I’d say there’s nothing wrong with it per se as long as they’re not doing anything disrespectful. We’re not Muslims, we can show imagery of Our Savior and it won’t automatically be bad.
 
Definitely a cool tune, to my recollection Madonna caught a ton of flak from the Catholic Church for the “Like a Prayer” video. Perhaps times are changing? Big controversy of the past.

I think there’s a difference between Madonna and Fall Out Boy. Madonna has gone out of her way to blaspheme the Church and the Blessed Mother… FOB doesn’t do that.

They are! My daughter is a fan she’s almost 13. We were dress shopping and she saw a cute dress that was by Jessica Simpson. Well no, she would not try it on because her sister divorced Pete Wentz!!
