Fallen Angels were aliens from the planet Saturn?

My girlfriend really likes Tex Marrs, for those who don’t know him he is a crazy nut. He publishes books about how the president, congress, the pope, and every man in power is part of the illuminati consipiracy and these men according to him are all anti-christs.

Anyways I was looking at some of his materials and he was talking about the fallen angels who mated with mortal women to create the race of Giants the nephilim. According to Texx the fallen Angels are really aliens that live on the planet Saturn. He explains this is why anceint religions worhsipped the planet saturn. He claims back then spaceships from Saturn came to visit earth and the Egyptians would worship them. He also has supposed pictures to prove this. And he had pictures of Giant human skeletons archelogists discovered. Texx Claims this is evidence of the nephilim.

Anyways with this rather eye opening bible study of Marrs I thought surely the pope has talked about the secret behind these mysterious Aliens and the planet saturn. I am also sure there must be a lot of biblical evidence to support these claims. I am not as educated in the biblical teachings as many of you can someone enlighten me on aliens from Saturn?
 
Saturn is a big ball of gas, as is Tex Marrs. I second the idea of thinking about finding a new girlfriend.

This is merely a space-age version of 19th-century anxieties. If we lived in vast models of pink hedgehogs, he & his fellows would be having nightmares about how hedgehogs are plotting to take over the world. The nightmares & phobias & conspiracy theories people have, reflect the life of their own times - that’s one thing that gives them away. People in the US also have nightmares about being attacked by “them” - this is an old fear which has taken many forms, & is one of the sources of anti-Catholicism in the US.

I was going to say there’s a much smaller market for books about the miracles of Christian saints, but that may not be true. Who knows? Maybe even that dumb book ‘The DaVinci Code’ might draw some people towards the Church, once they figure out it’s utter bunkum, and begin to seek the Truth.

:tiphat: One over here. I was actually looking up sources to help debunk the DaVinci Code (someone I knew was apparently a beleiver in it) when I ended up here, learned a lot quickly and realized God was calling me to the Catholic Church. I resisted, being resistant to change now compared to my young self, but about nine months later I was confirmed and I won’t be going back.😃
Long before that I was gentled into reading the Bible for myself by sources ranging from Rastafarian flyers to tracts (including the dreaded Chick tracts) to a Baptist televangelist or some sort of TV preacher like that, to JW lit in laundries to I-don’t-know-what-else, and the result was I read a few verses for myself and there was no undoing it. Soon I couldn’t stop. I wandered the Christian scene a few years, feeling a reservation about actually joining any church, until I had been in RCIA for months. By then I knew the Catholic Church has the fullness of truth and I had to get in.
So there is no reason God couldn’t use Marrs as well.
But in my journey I experienced and saw so much psychological, emotional, social and quite likely serious spiritual damage from paranoia of all sorts that I won’t ever believe “anything with Scripture in it is good” as some of us used to say.

Augustine completely rejects the concept that Angels could ever “mate” with humans and proclaims that in Genesis it is speaking of the sons of God (Children of Seth) mating with the Children of Cain.

The older Book of Enoch (Enoch I) proclaims that they were indeed fallen angels who spawned this race of giants whom subsequently were wiped away in the flood.

Take what you will of that, but there is definetely no Biblical connection to aliens. Especially not from a gas giant like Saturn. This conspiracy nut is , well just that, a conspiracy nut whom is taking a few passages out of context in order to fuel his own self interest and promote his cult of personality.

Alien means simply a foreigner…
Angels are foreign.
Nephilim are mentioned in the bible a couple or so times right upto David and Golliath :-

wrong, he has evidence of bigfoot as a prehistoric race, nothing about bigfoot in the bible.
 
I read a bit of the Book Of Enoch years ago. I think it’s part of the Apocrypha. It’s starts out readable, then gets fantastic, in the old-fashioned sense of that word.

I could see from it why the Church fathers would leave out some books from the Bible. Just because it’s ancient, doesn’t mean it’s holy.

In modern times a man could spend years scrabbling through all the pot-boiling paper-backs out there looking for the Great Secret.

I don’t know if you realize it, but those photographs are of models of skeletons that were supposedly discovered but have long since been “lost”. Who would possibly lose something that important? It makes my BS detector go BEEEEEEEEP!
