Is there any prohibition to a deceased, fallen-away Catholic being given a Mass of Christian Burial? :o

not that i know of. we have hope for the dead no matter who they were. no Pope has even closed the book on Judas.
 
The funeral laws and Liturgy are the most flexible inthe Church. Even non-Catholics related to a Catholic can have a Mass of Christian Burial. My father-in-law barely made it under the wire with annointing and absolution, and we gave him one.

It would be at the option of the persons pastor. The Church suggests that if a person lived a life far removed from Catholic belief and practice that doing so might impact and confuse other members of the Catholic faithful.
 
no not if there is a reasonable expectation he would have asked for Christian burial, or if his Catholic family really wants it. If he explicitly rejected the notion while alive, or was a notorious and outspoken anti-Catholic, that would be another matter, Pastor’s call.
