**I can’t hardly type without crying some more. Please pray for me as my heart is breaking. My daughter and 3 grandchildren will be heading back to California Sunday night. She plans to drive with all three kids and a puppy. I have had the two oldest children (4 & 2) since February 1.

I feel that I will absolutely fall apart. My husband and younger daughter are having a hard time dealing with this too. **
**
Father, please heal the heart of my daughter and give her the love she needs to feel for her children. Grant her the ability that most mothers have to care for their children.
Grant them safe travel from Alabama to California. I beg of you to allow their car to make it safely without breaking down. Guide her and take the wheel of her vehicle should she become tired. Give her the knowledge to know when to stop and rest.
Remove the tears from the eyes of my grandchildren Nalani and Dylan as they leave us. Protect baby Ethan.
Remove the heartache, worry, and anxiety from my youngest daughter Chrissie, my husband Gary, and me. Grant us Peace!
AMEN **

Pam, poor darling. I wish I could help. All my love.

I say “amen” to your many heartfelt prayers, and will keep you all in my prayers and Masses. Trishie:coffee: :coffee:

Praying hard for you dear Pyropam!

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Psalm 4

Take pity on me, Lord, and listen to my prayer.

When I called out, he heard me, the God of my righteousness.
When I was in trouble, you gave me freedom:
now, take pity on me and listen to my prayer.

Sons of men, how long will your hearts be heavy?
Why do you seek for vain things?
Why do you run after illusions?
Know that the Lord has done marvellous things
for those he has chosen.
When I call upon the Lord, he will hear me.

Be vigorous, but do not sin:
speak in the silence of your heart,
in your bed, be at rest.
Offer righteousness as a sacrifice,
and put your trust in the Lord.

Many are saying, Who will give us good things?
Let your face shine on us, Lord,
let the light of your face be a sign.
You have given me a greater joy
than the others receive
from abundance of wheat and of wine.
In peace shall I sleep, Lord, in peace shall I rest:
firm in the hope you have given me.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Take pity on me, Lord, and listen to my prayer.

Thank you all so much for jumping in so quickly to pray with me and for me. Please remember me tomorrow…I don’t think I’ll sleep much tonight.

Well, at the top of the Liturgy of the Hours web page called Universalis there is also this quote tonight (well, a few minutes ago when it was Saturday night anyways), and I think it’s for you, pyropam:

“Let us listen for the Lord’s voice, so that we can reach his place of rest.”

I will continue to pray for you tomorrow (Sunday). I hope you will get some sleep, my friend.

Hi Pam,
I will pray for you at Mass this morning. I am curious, I get the feeling that you are against this move???

Kathy

Holy Family of Emmanuel, Joseph and Mary, pray for them, guide them and be the center of all of their lives. Amen

Oh, pyropam, my heart goes out to you. I say a heartfelt AMEN to your prayers, and will be keeping you and all your family in my prayers. Being a grandmother whose grandchildren live half a country away, I can feel your pain of separation. :hug1: :byzsoc:

I love you all so much. Thank you for your prayers. The children are spending the day with their Father, then they will be here about 8:00 for approximately 1 hour before they head out. I had a really hard time going to Mass by myself. I had to get up and go out to cry once. Sometimes I hate being a woman just because of all the harmones…

I love the way you spelt hormones…haven’t heard that one before. How apt! I thank God we can cry though. How do people cope who can’t cry, is the alternative anger or extra stress?

Dearest Jesus, please help Pam and her family through this. Not just today because there are so many days ahead, so Jesus be with Pam and her family every day. And please grant healings to her daughter, and embrace and protect the children every day.

Dear God, help Pam now. It is a few minutes past 9pm her time now, and the separation is going to happen soon, if it hasn’t already. Hold Pam in the palm of Your hand and comfort her. Give her strength now, and in the time ahead of her, to adjust to this. I pray for peace for Pam, a safe trip for her daughter and grandchildren and love all around. Amen

For your intentions:

O Mother of Perpetual Help, grant that I may ever invoke your most powerful name, which is the safeguard of the living and the salvation of the dying.

O Purest Mary, O Sweetest Mary, let your name henceforth be ever on my lips. Delay not, O Blessed Lady, to help me whenever I call on you, for, in all my needs, in all my temptations I shall never cease to call on you, ever repeating your sacred name, Mary, Mary.

O what consolation, what sweetness, what confidence, what emotion fill my soul when I pronounce your sacred name, or even only think of you.

I thank God for having given you, for my good, so sweet, so powerful, so lovely a name.

But I will not be content with merely pronouncing your name: let my love for you prompt me ever to hail you, Mother of Perpetual Help.
