Falling Asleep During Prayer

Actually there is another way of looking at this… It means that the last thing on our lips and in our minds and hearts are the things of God. There is so much lower, more mundane things we could be thinking about as we drift to sleep. Praying right up to the instant we drift off is not bad at all.

I agree with you what a lovely way to see it. I to usually fall asleep during my prayers and felt really bad about it. but what you have said, and others have said about angels and saints finishing off our prayers brings joy to my heart knowing my prayers were not in vain because of my falling asleep.
