Falling asleep in Adoration

St Therese of Lisieux used to fall asleep during meditation also.

My mom used to be so happy if someone “felt comfortable and safe enough” to doze off in her house. Especially in her presence. I think it’s beautiful to create an atmosphere that allows for the weary to rest.

Same thing happens to me when I pray the Divine Mercy in bed. It’s almost as reliable as Ambien!
