in some protestant, evangelical, and fundamentalist circles, there is a non-scriptural false dichotomy, not taught in the bible, between the bible, and everything else. I don’t quite understand where this false leap of logic came from. Can anyone explain. And its not in the bible, so if that is your source, than please forego. I’ll even jump on it. " vain traditions of men " refers to pagan practices of ancient greek and roman culture. St. Paul wasn’t against any traditions, only pagan empty traditions, not grounded in the real God.

Some might take the way you’ve stated the OP as a statement, and not an opening for dialogue. Just an observation.

As to your point, if you are referring to solo scriptura, I agree.
