pray for their salvation if it’s false and I pray also for the Lords forgiveness if my doubts are wrong. So Im afraid of them possibly going to hell
In the larger scheme of things 95 percent of Catholics and non Catholics are far more likely to be led astray by the secular humanist media than by “false signs and wonders”, or misinterpreted private revelation.

The best preventive strategy in both cases is prayerful study of public revelation.

TY. Do you ever worry that some of these apparitions are false? I do and it scares me.
Are miracles or prophecies evidence of her? Satan is capable of such things as well.
Every Marian apparition (Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of Fatima…) starts out as being not approved, and it can sometimes take a very long time to go past that point. When Our Lady appeared as a Native American woman this was shocking to some people in Europe, but it was accepted in time.

It’s pretty simple. If it teaches anything that is against public revelation, stay away. If not, then there’s nothing to worry about. If it’s not a real apparition then it doesn’t matter if you believed it anymore than if you believed that the Broncos were gong to win the Superbowl but it turns out it was the Eagles. Public revelation is what matters. Miracles encourage and strengthen and impart love and hope, but they never replace public revelation.

First of all, you can’t commit sin or be punished for doubting an apparition, even an approved apparition. We are not even required to believe in approved apparitions - you could easily doubt Fatima for example and that wouldn’t be a sin, there is no requirement to believe that Mary appeared at Fatima.
Ok then that’s good to know I thought I was in sin with these thoughts.
regarding your loved ones, just leave them to their business and pray for them.
That’s what I do. I mentioned it and that was it, I never pushed it.
If the apparition is causing them to do things against Church
No not them they love the church and live good Catholic lives.
Not much to worry about then.
No I suppose there isn’t. Sometimes the line between careful and paranoid gets blurred. Thanks for the explanation

Our Lady of All Nations is bishop-approved now, but the faithful have been directed that the words “who once was Mary” are not be used in the associated prayer. And, as the Pope just reaffirmed, the Church is not going to dogmatically declare her “co-redemptrix”.

Thank you for the great video. I had the pleasure of hearing this man speak at my parish. Great mind!

One thing of note, which begins to answer my question, is he says angels have the power to bend the heavens and the earth with God’s permission. And this goes for demons as well, since they haven’t lost their abilities, but use it for the cause of darkness rather than light. All under Gods direct or permissive will.

The video also says that the demons tend to act in “half truths” rather than full on lies in order to hook us in. Perhaps the deal with some of these supposed visions of Mary are the devil disguised as an angel of light. One of the ways to test the spirits is to see the fruits. Are the visions building the people’s faith, hope, and love in eternal things?

I’ve heard some people say that perhaps some of the visions of Medjugorje, for an example, are genuine. Yet, perhaps the devil might disguise himself as the blessed mother at times and sprinkle in false messages?

I wont say much more on this subject since this can be a new thread in itself.

Even if Satan does miracles, if we pray and follow the Church’s lead, then we cannot go wrong. It would have the effect of turning Satan’s malice against him.

Some attention to private revelations is helpful. Preoccupation with private revelation - even approved ones - is definitely not.

Private revelation is like music in Church. The Mass is totally valid with no music at all. But a given hymn might inspire some people (not all) to attend more closely to believing and acting on the gospel. “Approved” hymns (or private revelations) are compatible with public revelation.

But if people are getting most of their information and formation from the music ministry, if you notice the choir that’s not a good thing.

If people become devotees of a given music ministry, or advocates of a private revelation, that’s not so good.
But responding to devotional music or Fatima’s message by daily Mass and works of Mercy, that’s very good.

Satan’s Doomed… He’s going to Hell… But first the Church must undergo a Battle.

Garabandal was in 1961. After 58 years, you’d think they would have come to a consensus on it. Then again some think that Garabandal is being suppressed because of the Third Secret of Fatima not being opened in 1960 so…

From what I read there are some details that are holding them back. The main one is that the prophecy of a miracle occurring has not happened. Conchita Gonzalez said she is unable to reveal the date of the miracle but will announce it 8 days before it happens. Im not sure if she is still alive or not

Conchita is still alive. She’s 70 years old and a widow living in USA. She’s allegedly prophesized other things that didn’t come true either.

Wasn’t there something about a blind man seeing a miracle but he died?

According to Conchita Gonzalez, Our Lady promised that the sight of Joseph Lomangino would be restored on the day of the Great Miracle.
Well the great miracle hasn’t happened and Joseph Lomangino is dead.
That prophecy is therefore proven to be false.

Conchita, claimed, in 1962 , ‘Mary’ said there would be only THREE more ‘popes’ after the death of John XXIII and then the end of time.
There have been five Popes since then and it’s also not the end of the world. Another of her prophecies that is false.

She also claimed Russia will be converted as a result of the great miracle ( yet to come ).
Russia was consecrated by Pope Pius XII in 1952, and as a result, as we know, was ‘converted’.
Another prophecy that is false.

Personally I believe everything she has prophesied is false and the Church will never approve these apparitions/messages.

It’s against the terms of service for the forum to discuss material from unapproved private revelations, so I don’t think we should “go there” on here.
