Depends on how fresh they were when you bought them. The chopped green onions last upwards of 2-3 weeks. Cilantro lasts just under a week as long as it was really fresh. Basil lasts more than a week if you lay them out between pieces of waxed paper and store them like tea bags. I keep sprigs of Rosemary in olive jars and they last about a month at a time (and can be frozen, too.)How long will the chopped herbs keep in the fridge? I can go through a 3 lb bag of onions in less than a week.
Another thing we do is roast heads of garlic and pop the skins off, storing the buds in an olive jar and covering them with olive oil. It gives the most luscious garlic-infused olive oil and the roasted garlic is ready to use when you need it. The garlic is good for about a month and the olive oil for another month on top of that…though neither lasts all that long in my house.
