My family is in great need of extra prayers. I’ve been holding on by a thread for over 8 years. It seems that our family can’t catch a break. Every time I think we are final going to get our feet on solid ground, it is all knocked out from underneath us. My husband lost his job in November and can’t seem to get ANY job. He has applied at McDonald’s and was turned away… we are that desperate. I work and had been working two jobs but my health couldn’t take it, so I have even started some side hustles, direct sales stuff. I had panic attacks, and they had started to subside, but I started taking care of everyone else and spent less time on my self care so the panic attacks are creeping back in. My husband is grumpy because he isn’t able to support our family. I feel stuck. I just am losing hope. I have always been able to see the silver lining, I have always trusted God had a plan for me and my family. But now I’m just losing the battle. I want to be strong, but I’m so tired of fighting. We have no health insurance, we live paycheck to paycheck, my boys are begging for things we should be able to give them(a lemonaid stand…but we can’t afford the lemonaid!) We pray without ceasing. I need help, We have asked St. Joseph, St, Ann, St Rita, St Padre Pio, Mary(who goes without saying) St. Francis, St Gerard, and St John to intercede as well. I feel like my army is failing. We have fought for so hard for so long… Please pray for us.

Praying to St. Joseph for your husband to secure employment. Praying for the intentions of your family.

Praying my heart out for your family and all who are similarly situated.

:gopray:

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now ever shall be world without end
Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.

Prayers said for your family and for success in your efforts.

A couple of suggestions. You might check out the St.Vincent de Paul Society local chapters. They might be able to assist in some of your needs. Talk to your pastor and tell him of the situation. He might be able to guide you in a direction you many not think of. And as to your husband’s situation, has he ever thought of joining the Knights of Columbus? It is a great fraternal organization and the networking possibilities are substantial. He might find something through them as a member. I don’t think it costs anything to join. Like the Lord said,“seek and you will find.”

Shalom and best of luck. Prayer said.

Praying for you and your family and that your husband is able to soon find work. Also praying your burden is lifted soon and perhaps you may find help in some unexpected place.

God Bless,

Mary.

I’m praying for you and your family. May the Lord heal you of panic attacks and may He grant you a financial miracle. May the Lord grant your husband a job as well.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

Prayer to St. Joseph for the Unemployed

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

Dear Jesus,

I humbly implore you to grant your special graces to our family. May our home be the shrine of peace, purity, love, labor and faith. I beg you, dear Jesus, to protect and bless all of us, absent and present, living and dead.

O Mary,

Loving Mother of Jesus, and our Mother, pray to Jesus for our family, for all the families of the world, to guard the cradle of the newborn, the schools of the young and their vocations.

Blessed Saint Joseph,

holy guardian of Jesus and Mary, assist us by your prayers in all necessities of life. Ask of Jesus that special grace which he granted to you, to watch over our home at the pillow of the sick and the dying, so that with Mary and with you, Heaven may find our family unbroken in the sacred Heart of Jesus.

Amen.

To Our Lady of Surprises

O Mary, my mother and Our Lady of Surprises, what a happy joy you caused the wedding guests, when you asked your Divine Son to work the miracle of water into wine. What a happy surprise for them since they thought the wine had run dry. I, too, Mary, love surprises and as your child, may I ask you to favor me with one today? I ask this only because you are my ever caring mother.

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (nantiope1’s family), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Praying for you that God may fulfill all your needs…

Lord, have mercy.
Christ, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy.

Hail Mary,
Full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb,
Jesus
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death,
Amen

Thank you all. I am always amazed and humbled as well as comforted by the generosity of the prayer warriors who come to our aid when we but ask. I am crying tears of joy at your outpouring of help. Thank you. I can feel my faith being renewed. Thank you, and I in turn will pray for you

Prayer to St. Peter Chrysologus

St. Peter Chrysolgus, your name means “golden speaker”, given to you on account of your eloquent and moving homilies. You were able to make deep theological concepts understandable and relatable. As a deacon merely along for the trip with your bishop to install a new bishop in the Roman capital Ravenna, the Pope was so impressed by you that he named you the Bishop of Ravenna instead. In your day you shot down heresies, evangelized the surrounding pagans, built many churches, and cared especially for the poor.

We ask you to pray that we may show the same zeal for Christ that you did, that we may lead simple and humble lives, and educate the people around us on what it means to be truly Christian. We especially ask you to pray for nantiope today, who is having trouble receiving basic needs. Remember her and all other posters in your prayers this day. Amen.
St. Peter Chrysologus, pray for us!
