Trust me. He’s spoiled rotten. And since I had to put his sister to sleep this week he’s been attached to me like glue – all 17 pounds of him.

Bama, I swear i thought the same thing about those cats-- said i, “they look like those ghoul thingees on I am Legend.”

but Malia, i knew your dog was a bouvier-- even with the hair cut.

years ago, i bought my husband a bouvier puppy for a wedding present. Gretchen was the best dog in the world. i loved her lots and lots. before she had her litter of 11 puppies (some which nursed till 5 months and ***all ***which wore her out bad) she used to herd my little kids around the few acres on which we lived.

the littlest at the time was 2Gretchen would go outside with him and keep her nose on his elbow. if he started to wander off, she’d nudge him back toward the house. it was amazing.

but like i said, her puppies wore her out. when they were weaned and she was fixed, she just laid around in the shade and occasionally dug up a woodchuck or something.

no pets just now, here. but i would like to own a milk goat and a few chickens again, too.
 
ME AGAIN!! I’m allergic to so many animals, so here’s what we have. Some might be repeats. Photography and playing guitar and singing at mass are my sanity savers!!

I have too many pets to post pictures of. I have 1 box turtle, a red ear slider like the one above, a tiny frog, a cockatiel, and 2 dogs. Here are my dogs though:

Hi Yessi, My DH’s aunt had a yellow lab/chow mix. He was a pretty mild tempered dog, and he had the same type of mottled tongue as your Dog.

I especially love the kitty kat shots…I’m a bit partial to kitties, myself. I’d like to post a pic of our cat, Saber–and I tried but I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. I have it store in our hard drive, with some pics from last year. (before we moved and lost the camera wire:D )

Can someone ‘teach’ me how to get the pic onto here? Thanks!

I only have 2… but the 130lb dog could count for more than one, lol… the hairless cats are my sister’s:D

But then again, if you count Lily and my hubby, I guess I do have a lot of little animals running around here:p
 
Love the animals. I’m surprised at how many of you have cat and dog or bird and cat combos that apparently get along. If only people were like that!!!

I tried to talk ds#3 into trading the mice for hamsters…no deal. I’ve had guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils (mean, they bite) and NONE of them smell like the mice cage even after I got a more ventilated cage and changed their bedding.

We have a lot of mice up at the duck cage. Mice love to eat corn and use warm duck feathers to make nests.
 
I took this one of Gabriel several months ago. It was a wet Spring for us so he was always in getting dirty.
