i have a step daughter and step son that I have given things to and they sold them and then tell me that I have never given them to them. some are paintings that I painted and some furniture. Finally the last straw was when my step daughter needed some book shelves and I got my husband (her dad) to witness that I was loaning them to her and when she moved she is to return them. She agreed. I also, years ago stored some boxes at her house and she went through those and took what she wanted. Of course she denied that too. She is 51 now and she borrowed several thousand to get on her feet while going through a divorce. She got a boob job with it to make her more “marketable”. now I am the villain because I will not allow her in my house. I find it so hard to forgive her and let her in my house. If I forgive her and my step son for those things, does it mean I have to allow them in my house? Stealing is a game with them.
