For 5 years, my family has been pummeled and beaten down by the atrocities of this life.
For my mother, who is bedridden and dying a slow death.
For my father, who has resorted to drinking to hide his pain
For my brother, who faces a jail sentence for a crime he did not commit
For my sister, who has lost faith in her family
For my children, who have lost their mother and their family
For him, who has gained all through deceit
For me, who’s faith hangs on by a thread.

… where is the light? Where is the the purity and love we all once knew? Where did all this pain come from?

St. Michael the archangel, defend us in battle,
be our protection against the snares and
wickedness of the devil. May God rebuke him,
we humbly pray, o prince of heavenly host, by
the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all
the evil spirits who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Our Father,
Who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy.
Hail my life, my sweetness and my hope!
To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve!
To you do we send up our sighs;
mourning and weeping in this vale of tears!
Turn, most gracious Advocate, your eyes of mercy toward me,
and after this, our exile,
show to us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus Christ!
Clement, loving, sweet Virgin Mary!
Amen.

First of all, I’m sorry I reposted your message. I have done this twice and don’t even know how it’s happened.

You are going through an extremely difficult time and just tonight I saw Mother Angelica’s show and she was advising someone who was suffering and wanted to know why God allowed it. Of course, she mentioned how people have been asking that since Adam and Eve and she often talks about the redemptive power of suffering. If offered up to Jesus Christ, as I have very recently learned to do, your suffering can bring salvific power to those you love and others.

The Light is still there although you can’t see it right now. God never abandons us, but sometimes we feel abandoned and we can’t feel Him, only the pain we’re experiencing. We have pain in this world because of our broken nature. Someday, you will understand when Jesus wipes away your tears. Remember that Jesus says in the Beatitudes, “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.” Mt. 5:4.

One factor I’m always concerned about is children. If you’re their mother, even though it might take heroic virtue that you need to pray for, concentrate on making your children’s life one of assurance of your love and the love of God, and of hope and trust. I myself have suffered much in life, and much had to do with my rebellious nature against God’s Laws, but when it came to interacting with my nieces and nephews, I always put on a smile and made sure that they didn’t have to see me suffer or know my condition. I realize it’s different since your children probably live under the same roof, but discretion is of the utmost importance. Can you start praying with them? Build their faith and you’ll be adding to your own. Jesus Christ is real.

Please try to go see a priest, one who’s known to be kind and understanding. And you can cross parish lines. I have. You also need to continue praying even if your faith is hanging by a thread. My heart goes out to you, but only God can bring genuine change and eventual meaning into your life.

My love and prayers go out to your family, all included.

Hail Mary,
Full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amoungst women,
And blessed is the fruit of Thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death,
Amen

I just said a prayer for you and your family, and for the man who has taken away your wife. God bless you.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

For those going through pain suffering and unimaginable loss. Please read the True Life In God Messages. (TLIG.ORG). These messages save everyone. They are Spirit filled and Life changing.
soon, very soon now I shall tear the heavens open and come down in full force! if you were to understand fully what I mean, you would not spend your time being lethargic, you would be in constant prayer to Me; for suddenly and as quick as thunderbolt, I shall descend in flame of devouring fire and unveil all that has been hidden from you; I shall with My Finger point out to you all those that honoured Me with lip-service, never serving Me with the language I had taught them: the Language of My Cross, the Language of Love, the Language that teaches you things beyond human understanding;True Life In God (TLIG.ORG)

True Life In God Meeting will be held on the 30th of August at the Doncaster Church of Christ in Doncaster from 2pm to 4 pm.

Saying prayers for you and your family.

St. Michael the archangel, defend us in the hour of conflict,
be our safeguard against the snares and
wickedness of the devil. May God rebuke him,
we humbly pray, and do thou, o prince of heavenly host, by
the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all
the evil spirits who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

As someone who suffers constantly from physical and psychological pain, I find it best not to ask why. I understand that Christ suffered for our sins. As such, He understands every pain we go through. Many great saints also suffered hideously. Why should I be exempt? If I ask why, I start feeling more miserable than I already am. Still, I always remain hopeful for relief from my suffering.

I beseech God to relieve you and your family of this anguish, if it be His will. In the meantime, I pray for consolation for you and your family.

A prayer to offer up suffering

Dear Lord, during this trial,
I offer up to you my confusion
Give me clarity
I offer up to you my despair
Give me hope
I offer up to you my weakness
Give me strength
I offer up to you all my
Negative thoughts from Satan
So that when he asks ‘Where is Your God now?”
I may respond “Right here with me, giving me His grace
As a Heavenly beam of light penetrating your darkness!"

Amen

Loving God,

We ask for your mercy, blessings, and a sign to strengthen this family who had endured so much suffering and so many trials. Please grant perseverance, trust in your divine providence, and the peace to handle adversity with as much grace as possible, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Lord, we know you stand with us, shine the light for us, and will leave the 99 sheep for a time to find and save the lost one. Please help this family in their pain and difficulties and give them courage and strength.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

Amen.

prayer to saint dominic
O Holy Priest of God and glorious Patriarch, St. Dominic, thou who wast the friend, the well-beloved son and confidant of the Queen of Heaven, and didst work so many miracles by the power of the Holy Rosary, have regard for my intercessions. On earth you opened your heart to the miseries of your fellow man, and your hands were strong to help them; now in heaven your charity has not grown less nor has your power waned.
Pray for me to the Mother of the Rosary and to her divine Son, for I have great confidence that through your assistance I shall obtain the favor I so much desire: for Ewenity’s intentions and family Amen
