Although we knew it was coming, the reality is still jolting. He was no doubt more than ready to go home and may he rest in peace. 🙏
 
I’ve heard some suggesting that Benedict will be canonised quickly like StJPII but personally I don’t think that likely. Although it may happen once this current generation passes.
