Fargo, ND - 1st Latin Mass today 10/14/07

The Cathedral of St. Mary had the first Latin Mass in Fargo, ND today at 2:00. Each Sunday the Latin Mass will be at 2:00.
just wanted to notify everyone who doesn’t know it’s offered and it was beautiful ! the church was packed with hundreds.👍

No no no.:tsktsk: There is no way it was packed with hundreds. You see, the Traditional Mass is a fringe Mass, attended by only a few die hards and troublemakers. In fact, it will never grow beyond being a fringe thing until the Priest turns around and faces the people and the entire Mass is in the vernacular.:rotfl:

Hey don’t blame me, I’ve read those very lines right here on this forum, and you know they must be correct.

By the way, check out the pics I posted from the new daily Mass in San Diego. Of course it probably isn’t happening either. No we’re all just trapped in some daydream, well, a nightmare to some I guess:thumbsup: , but hey, thats life.
 
I think this was they day all parishes were supposed to do a head count of all those present at all Masses. Perfect. AND they count adults, teens and children. would be delicious to see how many teens did attend Latin Masses across the nation, one can only hope there is a way to break the count down in that manner.

Awesome … Several weeks have passed where I was unable to attend the Latin Mass for one reason or another. Today I was really wanting to do the convenient easy thing and attend Mass at my Novus Ordo home parish, but I felt the Lord calling me to the Latin Mass downtown, so I went there instead. So glad I was able to vote with my feet and stand up and be counted on the day it officially mattered without even realizing it. 🙂 👍 :cool:

To keep this on topic … Congratulations on the Latin Mass in Fargo … Every time I see another parish offering this Mass anywhere, I am happy for the souls who are able to attend. 🙂

Thanks be to God! It’s wonderful to hear of another Tridentine Mass being celebrated. This Mass may be the catalyst needed to start the renewal of faith for many Catholics.

I hope these people keep attending and supporting this ancient, Holy form of the Mass.
