Fasting and Medication

I have a stomach disorder which requires me to take medication along with a full meal several times a day. Does this excuse me from the normal fasting requirements during Lent?
 
Got it in one! The Church does not expect us to damage our health.

I’m curious. You normally have several full meals daily?
