Have you ever fast and pray in order to help others. For example, if someone is ill, need to get a job, facing alot of turmoil in their lives.

Yes, I pray to help others all the time. I think we all do.

Some of us also fast. That’s a little trickier because one needs to be medically able to do the fast and also be able to keep up with their other responsibilities, such as child care, driving to work, doing your job etc. We can pray constantly, but we can’t really fast constantly unless we are living the lives of hermits in a cell.
