What’s that one phrase Father Corapi says regarding the purpose of life? It’s something like “That I might know Him, love Him and serve Him, that I might spend eternal life with Him.” or something like that.

Sounds like he is using the answer from the Baltimore Catechism. You can google for the exact quote.

Here’s the best quote I could find:
To know, love and serve GOD is the meaning of life. The rest is just dust.
Peace
Chris

NO, it’s this:

Why did God make you?

God made me to know, love and serve him in this world, and be happy with him forever in the next.

THat’s basic catechism stuff.

Gregory I, that’s it! And yes I believe that’s Baltimore Catechism.

I always thought the meaning of life was to recieve the eternal life with Christ, or the eternal life after Christ. Both mean that a REBIRTH must take place, and that the bodies are CLEASNED in the process.

That is an interesting perspective you have there, but isn’t really like my statement? thanks for the information
