He was ordained several hours before he died. He got special permission from the Pope to be ordained even though he had not finished the seminary course of study.
He was from the Archdiocese of New York, and his home parish was St. Peter’s in Haverstraw, New York.
There is a neat book with pictures called “A Priest Forever”.

I am almost done reading Father Gene’s biography, and found this thread while searching the internet for information on him. There’s very little! I may call the Archdiocese to see if his cause is open. It’s too bad more people don’t know about him
