Father In Critical Condition

We went to visit him. He is doing better and is about to have surgery. He couldn’t speak and he couldn’t look at me although it did look like he was trying to say something. I just want to get passed this. I just want my dad to talk to me again.

I have to go and load the dishwasher right now so I will pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for him while I am doing that. I find it very easy to pray that while doing something else, when no one is around I sometimes sing it, but…when other’s are here I just pray it silently. My husband and I pray it together out loud daily also and that is when I normally offer all the intensions of other’s. I will keep you and your family in my intensions during our daily Rosary too so that you can make it past this with courage in the Lord.

Thanks and I will allhers. He will have surgery soon…in the next few days so I hope all goes well. I don’t know what I’d do without all your prayers.

He just got transported to another hospital, but I don’t know whether he has had the surgery, yet. He did talk to me for the first time although his voice was very hoarse and I could barely understand him. He also seems to ask the same questions over and over again. I hope that’s not bad news.

Well, I would imagine that he got quite rattled and soon, hopefully all will be well. Perhaps he hit his head on something and eventually that questioning will clear up. I will continue to pray for his recovery. I’m glad you got to talk to him, I’m sure hearing your voice must have been very comforting to him. I’m no medical person, and don’t believe that even if I were that I could give any medical advice on here, but in my personal info in life, I think its probably a good sign that he was able to be moved, perhaps after the surgery things will begin to clear up for him. We’ll just keep praying for him, you, your family and all those caring for him.:signofcross:
