Father-in-law’s surgery on Tuesday

He’s on his way back to the hospital. Apparently the anesthesia has delayed after effects causing delusions and confusion. He fell down on our stairs and we’ve been watching him constantly.

Thank you all so much!
I have an update. He came home today from his second hospital stay. He’s lucid and remembers some of the not so nice things he said and did and regrets them. Of course, it wasn’t his fault, being an after effect of anesthesia. Next doctor appointment on Wednesday and on the road to recovery!

My father-in-law fell again today and hurt his arm, requiring gauze bandages and disinfectant. He’s also not a very good patient. 🙏

My father-in-law is getting a PET scan this morning. He is in pain and lab results from his surgery showed some small cell cancer, which is more aggressive.

My father-in-law’s PET scan yesterday showed he was clear. Next scan in December!
