Opening his home to unwed women expecting babies, 226 young women were given a place to turn. I can only wonder how many of those babies would have been aborted if his help was not there for the mothers. Even if the mothers would have all kept the babies; I am grateful that he was there for them and made things a little easier.

I hope each of those women sends a little note to his attorney for the court record at trial. There would be no reason to send the notes to anyone else in South Bend, they would not understand the relevance.
 
If one bishop stripped a hospital of its “Catholic” status, when will ND’s bishop strip it of that status? I know there are good groups on campus, but there were probably some good Catholic staff in that hospital, as there were some good people in Sodom. At some point, it doesn’t matter anymore. It’s time to cut off dead branches, especially ones with an autoimmune virus or a cancer, to save the other branches. The tree, the Church, will survive cancers like ND and Georgetown. An oath against the Land O Lakes conference and its fruits must be required, with severe punishments for violations for violations, of all Catholic colleges.
