Father of an old schoolmate died

I heard the name of my old friend from high school’s dad in the intercessions at Mass today and I looked him up to make sure. He died in a car accident yesterday. He helped a mother and her daughter get to the shoulder of the road after their car got hit and he was struck while getting back to his car. He has two daughters, one 19 and another a few years older.
