The only unfortunate thing is that she was over 18 and so the father can’t press charges that they gave a minor a dangerous drug without consent of her guardian. The lawsuit could have ended planned parenthood’s abortion for minors without parental knowledge practice.

However, if I were the father I’d be pressing charges for statuatory rape against the boyfriend… seven years is outside the limit for an adult to be sleeping with a 17 year old in california… and pressing charges against planned parenthood since they were aware that a girl had been statuatorily raped and did not report it to the police (namely, she was in there one week after her 18th birthday with her 25 year old boyfriend and was 7 weeks pregnant… making it obvious he had slept with her while it was still statuatorily illegal).
 
Couldn’t Planned Parenthood, in this instance and likely many others, be held accountable as a “Mandated Reporter” who did not fulfill their responsibility and obligation? They can be charged in a civil and criminal case I believe.
