I must say that every news story or newspaper article that I have seen about Terri Schiavo’s autopsy report, the one message I get from it was SEE? WE TOLD YOU! :tsktsk: They try to use it as validation for her murder. It’s so sad because they don’t get it. :banghead: They don’t get that every life is precious and worthy. I think it would be a good idea to print his letter up and enclose it Church Bulletins and maybe leave some in places like Dr.'s offices etc. Father Frank has laid it out and hopefully many hearts will turn. His parents must be very proud of him, I sure am!:tiphat: :clapping:

Amen, Fr.
I concur lets pray for his ministry God Bless him:bowdown2: :clapping:

I once heard a general speak about a time of war and I think it’s relevant to this thread: he said that in every time of war, when evil threatens to run over the fate of men, God seems to send at least a trio of messengers to offer hope, inspire faith and encourage standing the ground. He said as he reviewed the roster of great men who had fought and led various nations for freedom and in a fight for liberty against tyranny, he came to the conclusion that that these men appearing at just the right time in history, was no accident but a gift from God.

Dennis Prager wrote a column sometime back when he explained the Jewish belief that at all times there were 10 just men living who would seek to bring “good” into the world no matter how perilous the times.

Fr. Pavone is such a man. God bless him.

Less than three months after his instructions to starve his wife to death were carried out by court order, Michael Schiavo is seeking a book deal.

Schiavo is in Manhattan, reports the New York Post - “shopping his book proposal among publishers.”

Ani, Thank you for the quotation by Rev. Martin Niemoller.

Fr. Frank Pavonne’s letter was inspired and yes a very good suggestion to print up a few copies.

Did anyone catch Raymond Arroyo’s program last night, The World Over on EWTN with guest Michael J. Gaynor, a NY lawyer who spoke about the autopsy results? He said the media has not picked up on this finding in the report which found that Terri’s frontal temporal and temporal poles and insular cortex demonstrated relative preservation which meant the part of the brain which controls higher functions was largely intact. Therefore, she was apparently aware of what was going on.

Michael J. Gaynor has his own website michnews.com.

Bobby Schindler, her brother, was interviewed via telephone as was her pastor for the last five years, Msgr. Thaddeus Malinowski.

I read the document and found the detail which Michael J. Gaynor quoted last night to Raymond Arroyo. It is on page 15 of the autopsy report first paragraph, lines 5-6. Written by Stephen J. Nelson, Chief Medical Examiner, 10th. Judicial Circuit of Fl.

“The frontal and temporal poles and insular cortex demonstrated relative preservation.”

The weight of Terri’s brain which attracted so much interest was followed by this comment: “By way of comparison, the brain of Karen Ann Quinlan weighed 835 grams at the time of her death.”

Karen died June 11, 1985 from pneumonia not dehydration. I wonder how many autopsies the chief medical examiner has seen of patients who died of dehydration in order to make a valid comparison.

He did mention why an MRI scan could not be performed on Terri because she had a 9 centimetre long implanted thalamic stimulator wire which would have caused more injury had the procedure been done.

In his own words he finished with this important admission, “Neuropathologic examination alone of the decedent’s brain - or any brain, for that matter - cannot prove a diagnosis of persistent vegetative state or minimally conscious state.” pg. 20 of 39.

Schiavo Autopsy an Orwellian Masterpiece

George Orwell once wrote “If thought corrupts language, language can also corrupt thought.” The recent release of the Pinellas County autopsy of Terri Schiavo is a clear and convincing example of Orwell’s assertion. The national thought and language has been overtaken by a Big Brother of sorts, the mainstream media who is now “thinking our thoughts” and compelling us into their world of “doublethink.”

Written using technical medical terminology, which is lost on most, the 39-page tome announced that the certified manner of death is “undetermined,” and the cause of Terri’s untimely departure from this earthly life was “Complications of Anoxic Encephalopathy,” or, in layman’s terms, a brain injury from lack of oxygen. The report continues to explain that because no one really knows what caused the episode fifteen years ago that resulted in Terri’s injury, her manner of death remains uncertain.

It is now official. Nobody really knows why Terri died.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I remember the ebb and flow Terri’s riveting end-of-life struggle being reported internationally for weeks. There were highly published efforts by her family to prevent her court-ordered death by dehydration that involved the United States Congress, the President, the Florida Legislature, the Florida Governor, and an unprecedented number of courts. Even her final moments on this mortal coil were callously reported live as if it was the last two minutes of the Super Bowl. Billions of people all over the globe were morbidly transfixed to their television sets watching and waiting for Terri to slowly die after being deprived of nourishment and hydration.

Now the Chief Medical Examiner of Pasco and Pinellas Counties, Dr. Jon R. Thogmartin, claims we really can’t know how she died.

While Terri lay disabled and unable to speak, her caregivers were verbally spinning the account of her tortured, lingering death in to a compassionate healthcare fairy-tale. Terri’s estranged husband, Michael, repeatedly told us that his wife “had died fifteen years earlier.” How many times did we hear the medical “experts” tell us that her cerebral cortex had “liquefied” or that Terri was in a PVS, Persistent Vegetative State?

Now the autopsy was meant to confirm everything the death-peddling pundits have told us, and with such great authenticity and certainty that no one would dare question their findings. But it hasn’t worked out that way.

The questions raised by the absurd declaration that the manner of death cannot be determined makes me wonder if Dr. Thogmartin is a student of the famous science fiction author George Orwell. In Orwell’s masterpiece work 1984, he describes a society manipulated through the use of a deceptive propaganda tool known as New Speak. This tool, where the language was perverted to mean whatever the authorities wanted it to mean, produced “doublethink” in a malleable society. Doublethink is “the power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one’s mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them.”

It is evident that a form of New Speak has been employed the case of Terri Schiavo. We have been told that we must accept the “fact” that Terri actually died during her 1991 “accident” and that she was being “artificially kept alive” in spite of the fact that her body was “shutting down.” But, in a momentary lapse in Schiavo New Speak, Dr. Thogmartin states that Terri was “a relatively health woman who could have easily survived another 10 or 15 years.” Are both true?

It seems as though Dr. Thogmartion and his cohort medical examiners are creating a third class of human – the living dead. There are those of us who are alive, those who are dead, and now thanks to the Orwellian Thought Police, we have those, like Terri, who were somewhere in between life and death, hovering in a zombie-like existence.

We have been force-fed the concept that it was benevolent to deprive Terri of basic sustenance, yet our minds tell us it was sadistic. We are being trained to think, in classic Orwellian fashion, that bad is good in a diabolical attempt to justify the killing of the infirmed, disabled, or otherwise imperfect people among us.

Today, because of the pro-death spin doctors corrupting our concepts of truth and morality, our society consented to the murder of Terri Schiavo. Tomorrow? Well, that is a future that even Orwell would not want to consider.

***I did some research on PVS today, and found this definition: “PVS is used to describe a loss of cognitive neurological function, meaning that the upper part of the brain that controls the more sophisticated functions such as speech, movement, and THOUGHT, has died.” That would include the areas mentioned here. ***
Terri’s frontal temporal and temporal poles and insular cortex demonstrated relative preservation which meant the part of the brain which controls higher functions was largely intact.
So, since hers was largely intact, and in PVS this part of the brain has died, can it be said that she was in a PVS???

More to come…

I am looking forward to this being followed up on. Terri should have received treatment with the money Michael won in his court case on her behalf. I can not help but wonder how much different things would be if Michael actually used the money he won in that court case to help Terri. Instead, once he had money in hand, he “suddenly remembered” that she “would not want to live like that”. From that point on, he put a stop to as much of the treatment Terri received as possible.

Between the lack of treatment and the dehydration that killed her, it’s no wonder Terri’s brain and muscles that allowed her to swallow atrophied.

Did anyone wonder about the timing of Terri’s blindness? IOW the video was made years ago and she did appear to be tracking things visually. IF she really was blind, that didn’t prove she wasn’t blind at the time of the video does it?

Terris father said about 8 days into her being starved her eyes were bleeding, could the dehydration have caused it?Also Lisa in 2003 she went 6 days being starved and dehydrated, would that not have an effect?

I went to lifenews and found out a lot of information, if this link doesn’t work, just try putting www.lifenews.com in your browser. Michael is still not telling the family anything about where, or even if Terri has been entombed anywhere yet.

Seems to me that yes, one could go blind in the last few days of death, especially one who was being starved to death. I would imagine that would take its toll on all bodily functions.

Seems like they are trying to say what the family knew all along, that she was severely handicapped and they already knew that.

Makes you wonder if Michael really shouldn’t have to give all that money back that he claims years ago was the doctors fault, when in fact, according to his own words, he waited before even calling for help, and then he said he tried to help her, well, hey, if you try to help someone, do you think you would put them rolled over on their face afterwards, thats the way she was found when the medical help arrived.
