An old priest friend of mine has recommended reading books by Father Cantalamessa. I hadn’t actually heard of him before.
See the website below for information on him. He is Preacher to the Papal Household.
He seems to have written quite a number of books. Has anyone read any of his works and which in particular can be recommended?

I recently went to a retreat based on one of his books. It was on sobriety within the Charismatic movement. It was wonderful! It was a great reminder to keep your focus on the cross when living your faith. I can’t remember the title. But the retreat was wonderful!🙂

Where you at the retreat in Lisle. It was awesome. Father was awesome. I got two of his books.

It looks like I now have to get myself some of his books.
