How can father teach his teenage son about sexuality, morality and remaining pure? Soon his son will be interested in dating, if he isn’t already now. Can anyone provide an outline for the father to go over?

Also, the schools and society have made the issue of same sex marriage a non issue with kids today. How can a parent teach their child about the issue of homosexuality and the bible without the child being shocked and accusing the parent of being “homophobic?”

A father teaches his sons and daughters about purity and sexual morality by living it in his daily life. Don’t have media in the house that objectifies the human body. Don’t let your children see or hear you objectifying another person. Show by example the way a marriage is supposed to be, so it is something they value and want for themselves. Make the family the center of your lives second only to God. This starts in infancy and is much more important that any “talk” you could have.

👍

The best way to teach such things is by example.

Children learn from the way they see their fathers treating their mothers, as well as other women in general. 🙂

(By the way, when I saw the thread title, the capitalization had me thinking it was something about God the Father and God the Son… :p)

👍

It makes me ill when I see grown men make sexual inuendos in front of little boys and then when my eyes bulge in shock they laugh ‘They are too young to get it’. Give me a break.

Both genders need to act with dignity to ensure the next generation has a proper upbringing
