You are going to surely force me to stay up longer, that statement just brought out my teenage rebelliousnessLisaā¦I thought I was the only insomniacā¦given that you are in Memphis and weāre in the same time zone it is 1:40 something in the morning where you areā¦shouldnāt you run off to bed and allow the college students to function as the designated forum insomniac???
thatās what IāM talkin aboutā¦
especially at 1:44 am. what? donāt you see iām on āearthā?
When my son told me he liked that old 80ās music I knew then, I was all washed up:nope: God BlessSorryā¦didnāt mean to have you reveal your age. Mom always tought me never to bring a ladyās age into questionā¦I suppose this late night stuff does remind me of my teenage yearsā¦since I only left them a couple of months ago.woe is me, I feel old.
I totally agreeya, weāre a little off topic now. hmmm. how to tie it inā¦
you should call no man father because he might find out that youāve stayed up wayyy past your bedtime playing on the internetā¦
there, now weāre RIGHT back on topicā¦
riiiiiiiiiiiiiiightā¦
I have an idea watch for new threadsindeed it would appear you are both significantly older than Iā¦I bow to your wisdom :bowdown2:I donāt think though I am a kidā¦If I was I wouldnāt be as poor. If I were a ākidā the financial benifits of ordering off the kids menu would be immense for the perpetually poor college students.
Or maybe we should call no man āFatherā because someone might ask us, āWhoās your daddy?āya, weāre a little off topic now. hmmm. how to tie it inā¦

Unless of course those who use Jesusā words ācall no manā¦ā to justify their opposition to priests being called fathers,** are in fact suggesting that St. Paul contradicted Jesus on this score**, which is quite unthinkable for any Catholic or Christian.St.Paul refers to himself as the spiritual father of the Corinthians in 1st Corinthians 4:14-15 when he says to them āI became your father in Christ Jesus through the Gospelā. (See also 1st Thess 2:11, 1st Timothy 1:2, and Titus 1:4) He became their father because he cooperated with God in giving them spiritual life just as biological fathers cooperate with God in giving us physical life.
We call our priests āfatherā because , like St.Paul, priests cooperate with God in giving spiritual life to their flock by preaching the Gospel and administering the sacraments.
