Prayer to St. Peregrine

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of Father Catfish, whom we entrust to you. Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

I am acquainted with Father Catfish. Thank you, whoisdiss, for making his struggles known to CAF and its prayer warriors. He has always been candid with his struggles with cancer. He is such a gift…so many of the youth in my area love him dearly. His videos are always insightful and often humorous.

Lord Jesus, once again I lift Father Catfish in prayer. Please comfort him and ease his pain. We would so love to have him here with us a little while longer. If it be in your will, please heal him. Let your glory shine through his life. Amen.

A Prayer for Healing Cancer

Heavenly Father, I come before you with a solemn heart and in need of your intercession. I pray that the cancer that has come into my life soon fades into a quick remission.

I believe in your capacity for miracles, and ask for this on my behalf. As we grow older, I know we become closer to the day you accept us back into your kingdom. I ask that you delay that holy union if it be your will. In your name I pray,
